Strip Club: From Fedepedia, the Federation encyclopedia

A strip club is an adult entertainment venue in which stripteases or other erotic or exotic dances are regularly performed. Strip clubs typically adopt a nightclub or bar style, but can also adopt a theatre or cabaret-style.

The strip club as an outlet for salacious entertainment is a recurrent theme in popular culture. In some media, these clubs are portrayed primarily as gathering places of vice and ill repute. Clubs themselves and various aspects of the business are highlighted in these references. "Top Strip Club" lists in some media have demonstrated that Risa-style striptease is a galactic phenomenon and a culturally accepted form of entertainment, despite its scrutiny in legal circles and popular media. Popular internet sites for strip club enthusiasts also have lists calculated from the inputs of site visitors.

The legal status of strip clubs has evolved over the course of time, with national and local laws becoming progressively more liberal on the issue around the worlds, although some worlds have implemented strict limits and bans. Strip clubs are frequent targets of litigation around the galaxy, and the sex industry, which includes strip clubs, is a hot button issue in popular culture and politics. Some clubs have been linked to organized crime, which has been known to use legitimate business as fronts for its illegal operations.

Taking one padded step after the other, Selune's soft footfalls soon melted into silence as she drifted towards the occupied room. Crouching and waiting patiently she counted the voices, the Caitain double checked and did it again just to be sure. As far as she could tell there were still only three men in the room and they seemed blissfully unaware of the trouble they were about to be in. She gestured back towards the others, signalling three and to be quiet as she positioned herself against the wall.

Yuna and Char moved slowly and quietly to the door, taking pains to be as quiet as possible, sacrificing speed for stealth. One they arrived, Char used hand signals to indicate "3?", nodded and indicated the knob to Selune as she and Yuna took up position. To Yuna she indicated high, then pointed to herself to go low.

With painful patience Selune carefully turned the knob, holding it ready to throw open and dart out of the way of the two heavier women. Char held up three fingers, then two, then one, then pumped her fist. Selune didn't hesitate in her role, slamming the door open and stepping out of the way to give a clear entry while waiting for a clear opportunity to help should the need arise.

On the signal Yuna burst forward, keeping low and heading towards the first available asswhumping person, a thug who hadn't even realized there was an asswhumping approaching due to his back being to the door.

Evidently the trio of bad guys had been engaged in that time honored time killer....a card game. Not poker, but close enough. They certainly weren't expecting company in any case, and certainly not some angry and vengeful Starfleet officers.

Char, seeing Yuna going low, altered tactics and went high, rushing in then diving at the next closest thug, literally hurling herself bodily at him and connecting fist-first across the surprised man's face. With all of her mass in motion behind her combined with the strike, the man would be fortunate to ever eat anything tougher than applesauce ever again. The acrobatic alien ended the dive in a roll, coming up far from her target but out of any potential lines of fire

The thugs quite simply didn't know what hit them. One minute they were scratching their proverbial balls, the next they were tackled by a flurry of glamorous Starfleet officers. The satin and leather flew until the thugs were on the ground, their hands tied together with the very bonds the woman had been tied up with themselves.

"Don't ya just love justice," Yuna brushed down her dress which was looking a little worse for wear. There was a rip down one side and the strapless number was now a little tenuous in its ability to stay on her body. "It does have its moments..." Chary responded as she stuffed a wad of rope in one of the thug's mouths. He spat it back out at her, and her eyes narrowed.

"Now THAT's not nice," Yuna snorted, clocking him across the jaw and cleanly knocking him out before Char could cripple him for life. Since the Kurrajong she'd needed that, and it felt damn good.

"Much better now," she finished, as she insured that he would be eating soft food for a very, very long time.

Fiona hadn't been able to resist bringing the noodleman up to observe the chaos. "That was fast... did that look fast to you? I think that was fast" she said to the man leaning on her shoulder.

Giving a bleary nod the noodleseller taunted the goons. "Hey Gingo, you guys got your butts kicked by a bunch of girls!"

Fiona gave him a look and he shrugged. "What? They're jerks. they beat me half to death. I taunt them a little, that fair!"

"Good work ladies... okay Selune, stairway up means our exit. Look for alarms and guard and don't get caught... hey, is that your purse...?"

"Could ye grab my purse?" Fiona asked from the doorway. A small pile of their goods was on a small side table. Char snatched up their goods and redistributed them as Yuna searched the thugs, finding nothing more satisfying than a knife.

"Aye... there was an alarm...Yuna took care oov it, so we should be good, I figure."

"Just in case there's a redundancy upstairs. Okay ladies, positions... Selune, you know your job, Yuna on me, Fi cover our rear. Let's move." The scientist stepped back out into the hallway and took up position on the basement side of the stairs.

"On you?" Yuna raised an eyebrow.

"Yes, on me," the first officer replied with mild irritation. "You're all my responsibility, and I'm a bigger targe-"

Yuna snuck up behind her and jumped on her back. "On enough?" she quipped before jumping off again.

Despite the seriousness of the moment, Charybdis couldn't help herself but snicker, which turned into a laugh, and it was somehow contagious. The sheer ridiculousness of the situation settled in for a moment, and they all desperately tried to restrain laughter and failed.

"I'm not sure how this night could get to be somehow more of a disaster or embarrassment, but I'll not tempt fate by asking," Chary managed between chuckles. "Thanks Yuna... you gals are good friends... thanks for that." There was a distinct danger of a hug incoming, the security chief realized with dismay.

"Group HUGGGGGGGG, just in case we get our asses whupped later and there's no time," Yuna dived in for a group hug, and Char pulled in the other two as well. The noodle vendor just came along for the ride, but he did not seem to object.

At the top of the stairs Selune could hear clattering and clanging. She also heard a myriad of voices chattering away in Risan. Her sensitive nose caught the aromas of cheap bar food being prepared, burning smokeable products, a lot of liquor and an awful lot of cheap perfume.

Beyond that there was the unmistakable sounds of people in a club... the music had a definite down beat to it, almost sinuous. There was definitely some flashing, strobing lights on the other side of the door.

Waiting against the door for a long breath, she tried to listen through the distractions and find whether there had been a guard posted. She listened and the sounds sorted and dwindled. There wasn't anyone immediately outside their door.

Finally she nodded to herself and hurried back to the group, quickly relaying what she had found so they could decide how to proceed. The crew began to head up the stairs carefully and slowly, the leather-clad lovely in the lead.

The stench of cheap perfume and sweat could be smelt even from outside the door, and Yuna wrinkled her delicate nose in disgust. "Uggg, do we really want to know what's behind this door? I got a bad idea I think I might know already," she commented.

Charybdis shook her head. "Well, I hope you're wrong, but if it is, it might work in our favor..." She reached the doorway and paused, holding the door handle.

There was a lull in the music and a male voice came over some sort of PA system in Risan. "Pou plezi ou... Marta!" A rather drum intensive number started up. Char cracked the door open and peeked out... and sure enough, the suspicions were verified as correct.

To the left of the door was a beaded curtain - she could hear women talking in that direction - to the right was another curtain... this one made of some sort of shiny fabric. Some steps next to it apparently led out into the area beyond the shiny curtain, and the sound hit them like a wall... the thumping beats, and the hooting and hollering of a number of men beyond it. Turning back to her compatriots, she made rather a resigned face.

"Yep... it's a strip club."

Slowly she prowled out the door and peeked out of the curtain, surveying the situation, then she slipped back into the stairwell to have a hushed conversation with her landing party.

"Soooo... the good news is that there are multiple exits. And the attention of the men seems to be focused on the stage for the most part. The bad news is that I recognize a number of the faces in the crowd, and they are our friends with the disruptors from the alley. There is a dressing room in the back, but to prevent hanky-panky those usually do not have exits... keeps the girls from getting into trouble. So we need to get out one of the front doors past our friends. I think have a plan, but I am definitely willing to listen to options."

"Distraction?" Fiona suggested with a questioning tone. "Did ya see a fire alarm?" Char considered for a moment and replied, "Not really, no... nothing prominent or easy to reach."

"Boogers." Fi sighed, "Borrow some boas and pretend tae be part oov tha show? Suim how I dinna think Mr.Noodles here would pass."

"Mmmm, I'd tend to agree." Char sighed. "All right, I can distract the crowd, ideally enough to actually keep them from noticing the rest of you sneaking out... but I need assurances."

"What if... we went on the stage as part of the act, and you know, segue our way out the front door?" Yuna suggested, "Besides, could be fun!"

"You're on the wavelength, Yuna. Can you dance... well, can you strip, more appropriately?"

"This dress is about to fall off anyways. Lucky for me I wore my good undies," The Trill snorted, chucking a little wiggle that made her dress sing.

"What happens out there is NOT to be spoken of to anyone who is not here. I find out that happens I will be very, very angry and someone is liable to find themselves finding out just what happens when I spar angry. And no one wants that. Second, you go get a hovercar so we can make a getaway and come back for us. We can provide the distraction but we will need a rescue."

Fiona was shaking with laughter. "Oh HELL no... I'll carry the wounded. Selune... you're the pilot so you come with me... you two crazy women go be... distracting and we'll try to slip out and jaysus, I suppose hotwire a hoover," she held out a hand, "Yuna, knife please!"

Yuna handed over the knife as Char shucked out of her jacket and unbuckled her belt. "NO ONE. Not a word. Ever. No one outside of us. I'm serious about this." She put her belt around Fi's waist, then grabbed the bottom hem of her dress and hauled it upward over her anatomy. Freeing herself of the tight stretchy dress, Chary handed it to Yuna to struggle into, then she slipped her jacket back on and zipped it halfway up.

"Laird no..." Fiona shook her head, "nary a peep"

The music on the stage ended with a flourish and a green skinned woman flirted her way back through the curtain and let it drop behind her as the barker started another announcement. There was rustling from the dressing room area and the green painted woman just stood there on the stage stairs staring at the odd little group.

"Awkward," Fiona said as Char stepped up with a sweet smile and sucker-punched the dancer, knocking her out cold. "Sorry!" she hissed as she passed her back down the stairs to Selune.

The barker called out joyfully " E kounye a, yon sl la ak Jasmina slman!!! JAS-MINAAAAAAA"

The Vulcan vixen muttered something in an alien tongue, then muttered, "...built for distraction indeed..." as she strode out on stage slowly and sinuously, Yuna right behind her.
